Daisies

1.  Train Conductor Series:  The Friendship Petal

Party in a Pinch is now approved for the Friendship petal with their "Two for Tea. . . a Daisy Friend and Me" program.  This offers a unique opportunity for daisy troops to share a memorable experience that encourages a feeling of troop unity and leaves the girls enthusiastic about their future experiences with their troops.  Led by Tea Cup the Tea Party Princess, the Daisies share in an enchanting tea party with their teddy bears and their fellow troop members.

Brownies

1.  Manners Try-It

When seeking the Manners Try-It , Party in a Pinch offers their “Manners Make-Over with Tea Cup the Tea Party Princess”. This program offers a unique opportunity to learn how to plan and host a party for a fellow Daisy troop in Bilberry Square. Tea Cup will instruct on the main elements of gracious event hosting, greeting, and introducing.  “Manners Make-Over” addresses:

- How to make an introduction
- How to meet/ greet in different cultures
- Correct table manners
- How to host an event

 

2.  Sharing and Caring Try-It

Looking to complete the Sharing and Caring “Try It”?  PIAP offers “A Fairy Fine Friendship with Fancy the Fairy.”  This program reinforces key elements in being a good friend, encourages the acceptance of and pride in differences between us, and highlights techniques for handling specific situations in a caring manner. This experience strengthens existing friendships and also
encourages the girls to be a new friend to someone in need. “Fairy Fine Friendships” addresses:


- I care

- Favorites

- What if?
- Differences are OK

- A friend’s scrapbook

3.  Let's Pretend Try-It

Party in a Pinch has been approved for the Let's Pretend Try-It and has developed their "Imagineers" program which encourages the girls to use their imaginations to pretend and to enter the world of make-believe.  The Brownies will have the oportunity to dress up and learn how to change their voice, apearance and waredrobe to help them create a new character led by Theresa Lambert, Party in a Pinch's lead character actress.  This "Imagineers" program will address the following:

- Dress It Up

- Act It Out

- Louder, Please!

- Putting Your Best Face Forward

4.  Careers Try It

In an attempt to encourage young girls to think about their futures, Party in a Pinch has developed their "Business Partner Pals" program approved for the Careers Try It.  In this program the girls will learn how their talents, hobbies and strengths may help them determine their future careers and those careers available to them.  In addition, they will learn about how the professional field dictates your behavior as they compare two businesses, Party in a Pinch and Karma Day Spa.  This program provides an up close view of how a business works as it adresses the following:

- Autobiographies

- Future Jobs

- Career Charades

- It's Your Business

 

Juniors

Party in a Pinch has been approved for two Junior badges.   Come visit us when you are ready for the Looking Your Best badge and the Business Wise badge.

1.  Looking Your Best

In cooperation with Karma Day Spa, Party in a Pinch offers their "Being my Best" program where the girls will lear about how to tailor their own personal hygeine routine using skin care, nail care and foot care tips.  They will have the opportunity to try different hair styles at Glitter's Hair Salon as well as learn tips for choosing complementing colors for their skin tone.  It also encourages everyone to work together and see the best in everyone.  The focuses include:

- Collect Tips

- A Personal Hygiene Routine

- Skin Care Secrets

- Experiment with Hairstyles

- Accessories Party

2.  Business Wise

This "Business Buddy" program teaches the Juniors about what it takes to creat and run a business led by Lorna Medina and Theresa Lambert, owners of Party in a Pinch and managers of Karma Day Spa.  The program encourages intra personal skills, personal responsibility, work ethic, and more.  The girls will be able to shadow the owners as mini interns to experience the responsibilities and duties involved in running a business.  The following areas will be highlighted:

- Talen Scout

- Ask an Oner

- Cost and Profit

- Be Seen

- Practice Makes Perfect
